Looking at the somberness

Of people hurting deeply

Denial is the excuse used

To cover up the truth

Underneath it all

Longing to escape

The thoughts that taunt them day-to-day

These burdens are not yours

Relinquish them over to the Lord

Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
