I carried you from birth

And now you’re grown

Trying to decide what’s expected of you

But all too often you’re caught in

What the world offers

And not realizing the potential

That’s right in your midst

You turn to the world

You depend on yourself

You continue to be mislead

Confusion resides within you

Before you decide to take drastic measures

Control your thoughts by

Putting God first

He will keep you on the path of righteousness

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,

and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
