A candle lit brightly

For one to see

As it continues to burn

The flame becomes dimmer

Who’s to say whether the light

Will go out within the hour

Must you wait and see

Or shall you be prepared

To relight the fire

Too many wait unprepared

For what’s to come

Meanwhile your today

Is not what your tomorrow will be

For when the foolish took their lamps,

they did not take any [extra] oil with them,
